Enjoying them while I can

White Tulips

DSC01752 copy

I was out doing my garden rounds on Friday, camera in hand, and I came across these lovely white tulips. I thought that they looks so pretty against the backdrop of our old wooden fence. The petals are so delicate and almost feather like when you look at them closely.

On Monday our weather is set to become much warmer. I believe we’ll start hitting the 70’s or higher consistently, so I must enjoy my spring flowers as much as possible because once it really warms up they will disappear quickly.

Gardeners, Plant and Nature lovers can join in every Sunday, visit As the Garden Grows for more information.

Fabulous tulip; ours are all over for another year now but still so much to look forward to in the garden.

    I’m sos jealous!
We do not have flowers yet here 🙁

We took prom photos in the back yard yesterday, with barely green on the trees. I’m sure it’s just around the corner

    I love your garden photos!

Are you ever coming back to Cul-de-Sac?

    Very nice.

I don’t have any white ones but if I ever do another bed with Tulips I may use them to contrast the ‘Queen of Night’ Tulips I already have. For some reason I’ve never thought about taking cuttings of Tulips indoors but this year I have been doing it and I’m surprised at how much they last for me and how much more I can appreciate them indoors.

    (visiting today for GTS)

MrBrownThumb – I rarely cut my flowers and bring them indoors. I think I just enjoy looking at them growing outside too much. When I do bring them indoors I always wonder why I don’t do it more often. I certainly have enough flowers growing that I could have the best of both worlds.

Thanks for all your comments on this photo everyone. The tulips in my garden are truly amazing this year and worthy of the photo ops. 🙂

Beautiful! White tulips are my absolute favorite. We gave bulbs out as favors at our wedding. 🙂
