I think I have five or so more posts to go and I’ll have published 1000 posts on this site! Yeah!
Isn’t that amazing? I started this blog on January 21st, 2006. When I first started writing I didn’t even create a post everyday, until I learned that to have a successful blog you had to post regularly and preferably at least once a day. Now I sometimes write 6 or more posts a day on this blog alone!
Considering that the average blogger only posts once a day or less it would take most of them two and a half to three plus years to get to their 1000th post. I expect that I’ll reach my 1000th post sometime later today!

I’ve been blogging for over two years. I moved my blog to my host server sometime last year. I currently have about 1800 posts.
In total I’ve taken about a three month break since moving to my host server.
I normally post a few times daily. I really enjoy writing. When I need a break I take it! However I won’t make the mistake of taking such a long break (the longest was almost eight weeks.) I lost a lot of readers when I did that.
My last post was #1352. I’ve owned my domain since ’96 and I’ve had a website there since 1999…the blog as it is now started up in 2000.
Lordy, 7 years. Kinda hard to believe!
It took me something like six years to put up my first 1000, then about eight months for the next 1000, and at the rate I have been posting this year I will have cut that in half by mid-June and have another 1000 up.
I guess I just have more to say now.
