Rupert Everett quits Reality program

British actor Rupert Everett walked out of a celebrity version of reality TV show The Apprentice after just one day, because he hated being treated like a Big Brother contestant.
The 47-year-old star couldn’t stand the intrusiveness of the cameras and microphones on Celebrity Apprentice, a show created for British charity Comic Relief.
He says, “It is just so different from doing a feature film. I went in with good intentions but I just could not cope with the Big Brother mentality.”
Everett was one of ten celebrities, including Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole, to take part in the show, which will be aired in Britain in March 2007.
