Alcohol and Drug addictions problems on the rise?

It seems the that the more you listen to the news, particularly celebrity related news, the more you hear about people with drug and alcohol addiction problems. Just how many stars have we heard about just this year alone who have had blowouts and problems? Or who’ve signed themselves into rehab facilities?

Unfortunately what’s been happening in the world of celebrities is a reflection of what’s been happening in general society. There are lots of normal people who have developed dependencies on drugs and alcohol too.

If you think that someone you care about, or perhaps that you yourself might have a problem it might be time to seek Drug Treatment in a rehab facility such as The Watershed.

They have three facilities across the US staffed with experienced professionals. The website also has a number of resources. One of the resources is a quiz that will help you determine if you might have a problem. Other resources and articles are in place to help both those with addiction problems and to help their family and friends who are also affected when the person they care about develops a drug or alcohol dependency problem.

Visit the site and see how they can help you.

scott_weiland180.jpg Scott Weiland, lead singer for Velvet Revolver and Stone Temple Pilots, had a bit of domestic issue over the weekend. His wife, suffering from a bipolar disorder, blames an imbalance in her medication for her blowout over the weekend and subsequent arrest.

Weiland and his wife have now returned home to care for their children who did not witness the altercation as they had been staying with a family members on the night in question.

“Scott and I are very involved in our children’s lives on a daily basis and we love them unconditionally,” says Mary Weiland.

Britney has a tooth ache

Did you hear that Britney was briefly hospitalized last Sunday because she was having pain in one of her molars?

Well she ended up back in the Century City Hospital on Wednesday. It seems that the tooth hadn’t gotten any better.

I can understand the first visit to the hospital. After all it was a Sunday and dentists don’t usually work on the weekend, but if the pain was bad enough on Sunday to send her to the hospital should she have followed up with a dentist on Monday or Tuesday at the latest? Why end up at the hospital again on Wednesday? I don’t get it.
