Owen Wison Attempts Suicide

I’d heard the news some time on Monday about Owen Wilson’s suicide attempt, but I was waiting for an official confirmation before discussing it on this blog.
Yesterday, Santa Monica police confirmed that officers had responded to an attempted suicide at Owen Wilson’s house around noon on Sunday. No other information has been given out at this time, but Owen, 38, is recovering in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and he’s issued a statement that pleads for privacy asking that he be allowed to “receive care and heal in private during this difficult time.”
The only other news regarding Owen Wilson came out yesterday when Variety reported that Wilson has dropped out of the movie “Tropic Thunder” which is being made by DreamWorks.
Owen was set to begin shooting in early September with his long time pal and regular movie co-star Ben Stiller.
There’s no word yet if Wilson’s role will be given to another or if his character will be dropped from the film.
I’ve always liked Owen Wilson. I hope that he can recover physically and mentally from whatever’s caused him to get so low.

I HOPE THAT OWEN RECOVERS AND GET OK WITH HIMSELF AND WHATEVER DROVE HIM TO THIS ACTION. WE ALWAYS SEE ALL THE GLAMOR, AND HYPE ON OUR FAVORITE STARS (AND IT’S A COMBINATION OF THE AFORSAID,AND THEIR OWN HARD WORK AS A TEAM MEMBER THAT MAKES THEM STARS). SO MANY TIMES WE FORGET THAT THEY ARE HUMAN, WITH REAL PROBLEMS THAT COME UP IN LIFE (JUST LIKE THE REST OF US) GET WELL OWEN, YOU ARE GREAT!!!
