It’s official – Christina Aquilera is expecting

Christina Aquilera has officially confirmed that she’s pregnant even though most people already suspected that she was pregnant – especially after Paris Hilton made a public announcement two months or so ago.
Aquilera states she’ll enter “mommyhood” sometime next year. She told Glamour magazine that she will balance her career and caring for her child when it arrives likely sometime in early 2008.
Christina says her husband is very excited about the child they are expecting and that he’s been very supportive through everything. This will be the couples first child.

Remeber when there was a purported competition between Britney and Christina? When she demonstrates adequate parenting skills, she will have scored a hat trick of sorts, better career, better relationship, better mother.

They both have children now… and none of them releases anything new. I kind of miss Britney on the TV screen…
