What’s happening on the Celeb front?

It’s Madonna’s Birthday! Happy 50th to the queen of pop!

Denise Richards has put her 5 bedroom home up for sale. It’s apparently going for about $4.25 million. Spare change to some!

It looks like that carcass that was thought to be proof that Bigfoot exist was really a Big Hoax. DNA tests have revealed that one of the two samples taken came from a human and the other seems to be 96% opossum. So much for that then.

Tatum O’Neal busted for buying cocaine

tatum.jpgDid you hear that Tatum O’Neal was busted on Sunday for allegedly buying cocaine near her New York home?

O’Neal, 44, was seen making an illicit purchase at about 7:30 pm Sunday evening on Clinton Street. She was then arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. This, BTW, is a misdemeanor.

The alleged drug dealer, Allen Garcia, 32, was also arrested and charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Tatum was booked in the 7th precinct and was then arraigned and released on her own recognizance early Monday afternoon. She’s due to return to court on July 28th.

According to the New York Post O’Neal asked police “You know who I am, right?” and also claimed that she was “researching a part – I’m doing this for a part as a junkie.”

Tatum O’Neal, daughter of actor Ryan O’Neal has a history with drugs. She apparently began using drugs by the age of 14. Drugs of choice included Quaalude’s, cocaine, marijuana and heroin. She also wrote about her struggles with addiction in the 2004 memoir, A Paper Life.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight Tatum stated that she’s spoken with her three children – Kevin, 22, Sean, 20 and Emily, 17 and that they’ve been very supportive.

Diamond Earring sale at the Penn Diamond Exchange

Did you know I used to be a jeweler? It’s true. It’s also true that everyone – not just the ladies – loves diamonds.

Since I’m no longer a jeweler, but still love jewelry, I thought I’d tell you about the Penn Diamond Exchange. They carry a wide assortment of diamond jewelry in a variety of styles.

All of their jewelry appears to be well make, and the quality of the diamonds used in their jewelry designs are quite nice. Also, penndiamondexchange.com is well known for their fabulous prices. Just visit the site and take a look for yourself, you’ll see what I mean.

The diamond earrings that I’ve included an image of above are currently on sale. You can view more images of these lovely diamond earrings as well as look at a few more photos of the earrings on their description page.

Currently there are three pairs of these love 2.00 to 2.05 carat diamond earrings in stock at the Penn Diamond Exchange. Considering that these earrings are 2 + carats the price of $2,245.00 is almost a steal. Especially when you consider that the brilliant cut round diamonds used in these earrings are D-F color (the best!) with SI3/I1 clarity.

Another thing that I like about the Penn Diamond Exchange is that you can purchase these earrings in yellow or white 14K gold with friction or screwback backings.

Honestly, if you are thinking of getting a gift for a special person in your life take a look at what the Penn Diamond Exchange has to offer. Their line includes diamond rings, earrings, wedding bands, bracelets, necklaces, pins and broaches, plus they’ll even do custom work for you if you have a design of your own in mind.
