Isaiah Washington cut from Greys Anatomy

Isaiah Washington, who plays Dr. Burke Grey’s Anatomy will not be returning to the show next season.

He did have a very controversial season. Trouble started last January when he was overheard calling co-star T.R. Knight a faggot.

After the finale of Grey’s Anatomy there were rumors that he might not return since he’d packed his bags and moved out the apartment that he shared with Christina (Sandra Oh).

Now it’s been confirmed that his option will not be renewed and he’s “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it any more.”

A source says that Washington’s behavior made him a liability.

K-Fed and Justin face to face

justin_timberlake.jpg Justin Timberlake was making his way down the red carpet for a special Friday night performance at the Avalon in Hollywood when he met up with Britney’s Ex Kevin Federline.

They’ve been crossing paths quite often recently. They gave each other a short hug. K-Fed was motioning to the press to keep quiet. Timberlake on the other hand was raring to get the party started.

Justin joined Nelly Furtado and Timbaland onstage to perform “Promiscuous” right after the Black Eyed Peas finished their set. When they finished the first song Timberlake and Timbaland went right into “Sexyback”.

Watching from the crowd were Diddy, Scarlett Johansson, Grey’s Anatomy’s T.R. Knight, Kate Walsh and Sara Ramirez. Also seen in the aisles and the VIP balcony were Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo, Kid Rock, Cisco Adler, and Paris Hilton.

K-Fed was seen talking to a brunette outside the VIP area.

Isaiah Washington Returns to set

isaiah_washington.jpg On Thursday Isaiah Washington will return to the set of Grey’s Anatomy. This will be his first time back on the set since he entered counseling for making a homophobic slur.

Washington hasn’t been on the set since January 23rd. That was the day before he issued a statement stating he was seeking counseling “as a necessary step toward understanding why I did what I did and making sure it never happens again.”

He didn’t attend the SAG awards ceremony on Sunday and missed picking up his award for Best cast in a Drama.

He’s been the center of controversy since he used a homophobic slur which refered to his costar T.R. Knight, who is gay. He then apologized after heavy criticism. “I appreciate the fact that I have been given this opportunity and I remain committed to transforming my negative actions into positive results, personally and professionally,” he said.
