What up it’s sleeve?

The company that sets me up with posting opportunities, says that they have a big announcement coming up in the next few weeks. They aren’t giving any hints as to what this “Big News” could be, so we are left to give it our best guess.

Now I know that since I’ve been with this company I’ve seen a dramatic increase site traffic on all of my sites. That’s probably because I’m posting more often, and I’m posting about a wider variety of topics than I did in the past.

Could their big news be something that might help us increase our site traffic even more? Maybe they’re going to start their own search engine and blog directory? Perhaps rival Google and the Open Directory project? Or perhaps they are going to become partners with Google, Yahoo or MSN in some way? That would be cool.

Let’s see. They already has a forum, and a blog. They’re a growing web 2.0 company. They’ve hooked up with a web hosting company to help their bloggers create their own websites rather than use free services. They have their own reality show that they are hoping to get televised. Ohhhhh maybe that’s it? Maybe they did get a television contract?

I know that they’ve been posting on their blog lately asking the bloggers who work with them to create “Audition” videos so that they might become part of the reality show.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see, but wouldn’t that be cool if I’m right? Maybe I’ll find a way to get on the show?

Start your own radio show at Radio Free Tribeca

I was just visiting Radio Free TriBeCa. That site has some great live radio shows. They have all kinds of radio programs – everything from DJ’s playing popular music to talk shows.

I was actually just listening to the Jack Benny old time radio shows. Yes those radio programs are way before my time. but listening to it did remind me of the type of radio programs that my parents used to listen to quite often.

If you’d like to start your own radio program Radiofreetribeca.net has an open invitation for both Pro and Amateur radio talk show hosts, radio enthusiasts and DJ’s to start a show of their very own.

If you already have a radio show you can simulcast your show on their network, or you can start a 24/7 streaming channel.

In less than 15 minutes you could be broadcasting your show worldwide. Just visit the site, read the tutorial on how to get started and when you’re ready register for a free account and start your very own radio program. There are no fees, not contracts or exclusivity clauses. Check it out for yourself.

Free arcade games!

Do you like playing arcade style games? I haven’t played any for ages. I used to play a few online in the 90′s and before that, well, on some of the very old, perhaps you might call them “Beta” home game systems.

If you enjoy arcade games visit the ArcadeCow.com and Play free arcade games. If you’re a decent player you could win a prize too. You’ll need to register to become a member, but once you do, you can participate in a “High Score Contest” that began March 13th and runs through until April 14th, 2007. You could win an iPod shuffle and an iTunes gift card if you’re one of the top five high scorers. Plus, if you are the highest scorer you’ll get an additional $30 on top of the other prizes that I mentioned.

ArcadeCow is a free flash game site. There are over 2500 free online games available for both members and non members to play. That’s a huge selection of games. There’s everything from classic games to arcade, adventure, puzzle, shooting, sports, strategy and a number of other games types to choose from – check it out for yourself.

Want more information about ArcadeCow and the current contest they are holding? Read the press release that I’ve included below:

Reality Knights and www.ArcadeCow.com, a free flash games site with over 2500 free online games available to members and non-members, will be running a high score contest for Arcade Cow members from March 13th, 2007 to April 14th, 2007.

Prizes will include an iPod shuffle and iTunes gift card for the players with the top five highest scores. The top player will receive an additional $30 cash prize.

While Arcade Cow offers a free online gaming experience to both members and non-members, a free membership is required in order for gamers to participate in the high score contest, because membership allows for saved game scores.

The contest will revolve around a game called The Milkman, and there is no cost to register, participate in the high score contest, or play any of Arcade Cow’s free online games.

Arcade Cow’s free online game high score contest will have members competing for a high score while playing “The Milkman.” Players will earn points by virtually shooting a milkman as he pops up in various areas of the playing screen, which is a photo of a barn. Shooting the milkman earns various point levels, whereas misfiring costs points and will eventually end the player’s game or “life.”

Users interested in registering to participate in the free online gaming high score contest to win an iPod shuffle or cash prizes, can do so through a simple registration form at www.ArcadeCow.com.
