Courtney Love lost weight with meal replacement shakes

How do you think Courtney love lost all those pounds? She’s claiming that it was the result of meal replacement shakes and a lock on the fridge. Not a macrobiotic diet.

She claims to have gained 40 to 50 pounds on a macrobiotic diet in the past. She had used Gwyneth Paltros cook in the past to provide her with a macrobiotic diet and didn’t believe that the diet had caused her weight gain until she saw the photos that had been taken at a photo shoot for Italian Vogue when she weighed 182 lb.

That’s when she decided to do something about her weight. She says “I put the non-Photoshopped pictures on my fridge and had a lock fixed on it. My daughter Frances has her carbs in one drawer. I don’t know where it is. I drink shakes and exercise my [butt] off. Isopure, no carbs – two shakes and one meal: fish. Fish and broccoli really does work!”

Now she’s complaining again that he clothes don’t fit but it’s because she’s lost all that weight. She says that all her old clothes that were sizes 6 to 8 are on eBay with money from the proceeds going to the Chrysalis Foundation for battered women in the L.A. area and another charity called Fair – a fairness and accuracy in reporting media watch group.

Fashion choices might be interesting until she gets a new stylist – “I haven’t had a stylist in nine years because my old stylist went to Madonna,” Love said. “I’ve been looking and looking. I’d rather wear a tube top and have my stomach hang out than not have a good stylist.”

Courtney Love drops 44 pounds

love_hawaii.jpg Courtney Love has a new bod! She says she’s lost 44 pounds.

She said that she “lost 44 pounds with 6 more maybe 11 more to go.” on her website Moonwashedrose.com.

Courtney’s rep says that she’s been following a macrobiotic diet which includes lots of vegetables and fish.

She’s also been doing regular exercise and yoga workouts which have helped her lose the weight as well.

Love has also been quite open about the fact that she’s had a nose job. She states she’s got her old nose back. “I hated that nosejobby nose, it was like a little beak,” of her fixed nose she says “looks like the one god gave me so I’m happy not to have crazy lips and a crazy teensy unnatural little nose.”

It’s nice to see Courtney Love making the news for something good, although I think she might be a little too thin (see left photo that was posted on People.com, top photo Courtney in Hawaii from TMZ).

Want to look like a star? Read the dieting blog for some dieting and weight loss motivation

Don’t you just hate it when you’re reading your favorite Celebrity or Gossip magazine and you read about a star who had a baby the month before and they’re already back to their svelte figure? Or perhaps they gained some weight for a role but it seems that in absolutely no time they are back in super model form?

I have no idea what kind of witchcraft goes on in Hollywood to make the stars lose weight so rapidly. It’s gotta be a combination of diet pills, cosmetic surgery, fitness guru’s and odd diets.

You and I are just normal people though aren’t we? I know I certainly can’t afford to hire a fitness trainer to come and scream at me for a couple of hours each day to get me to do strenuous workouts. I also can’t afford to hire someone to cook my meals and make sure that I’m only eating whatever is on the latest fad diets menu.

Nope. If you and I want to lose weight we have to do it the normal way. But you know what? The “normal way” is the right way. Losing weight over a period of time by exercising and eating properly is healthier, and we stand a higher chance of keeping it off if we do it right.

I just visited a fantastic Dieting Blog that is full of tips on how to lose weight and keep it off. The blog is updated daily and you can read a variety of information such as reader news, opinions and articles about diets, weight loss methods and weight loss products. You’ll also find in depth articles of all the major diets.

I was very impressed by the depth of information on this blog and I can see it motivating people to stick to their diets, share their weight loss stories or woes, and creating a community feel among it’s regular readers.

Whether you’re trying to lose 5 pounds or 100, I think you should visit the Dieting blog and read a few of the posts. I’m sure you’ll find the information helpful and motivating. Perhaps you’ll be looking like one of the stars we enjoy reading about in a short while too.
