German Iris’ like to be planted shallowly. They will not bloom if planted too deeply, just the same as Peonies. Wow, great color Iris. Ours have come and gone. We saw some beautiful Magenta colored ones at the botanical gardens.

This is a lovely iris, the most beautiful blue in my garden. I eagerly anticipate it’s blooms each spring.
