Thank you!
I took this photo of my backyard last Saturday (I think). Anyway, it’s recent. I was standing on my backsteps when I took it.
As you can see my backyard is kind of small, but I’ve filled it with a mixture of plants both short, tall, annual and perennial.
I can’t do anything about the electric pole in the back, or the wire that is actually in my garden bed that stablizes the pole … so, I’ve been experimenting with vines that would grow up the cable to try to camaflage that ugly thing. The first few years I tried Morning glories - lovely but I got sick of pulling up 1000 seedlings each subsequent year. so last year I planted the dropmore honeysuckle and it seems to be doing the trick. It will probably be close to the height of the pole by the time summer ends.
