    That’s interesting, I have clementis. I cut them down before they get to seed. They seem to survive it.

    For those of you that were asking this is the seed head (or what’s left after the flower is gone) of a clematis vine bloom. It’s from a Seiboldi hybrid - a blue clematis. Seed heads on my other clematis vines don’t look quite this interesting.

    I usually do dead head my clematis vines after they bloom, but this faded blosom was up too high for me to reach. I did zoom in with my camera though for this cool macro.
