Lemon balm makes a wonderful tea and is great for iced tea too. It's also a good misquote repellent when rubbed on the skin and has antibacterial and antiviral properties.

All these sound delicious though we in Pakistan, when we're drinking green tea, usually drink "lemon grass" tea. I dislike the usual milk tea which seems to be the national drink here, but really miss the fruit or herb teas I used to drink in Japan.

Another thing I've found is that green tea is sometimes enhanced with cardamon or cinnamon which is quite beneficial in case of coughs or colds.

I LOVE the idea of using a French press coffeemaker for herbal tea--I've never heard of that before, but I'm asking for one for my birthday.

Bergamot is what's in Earl Grey tea, so that should give you a taste. I like sage tea with some honey, especially in the fall/winter or when I have a sore throat. Lavender tea sounds delicious, too--I don't see why you couldn't try that!
