You reminded me of my mom this afternoon. She loves the hummingbirds and has a couple of these feeders in her backyard. A very unique take on the theme!

Beautiful feeder! Since I live in Sweden I have to make do with bluetits. They're big compared to a hummingbird (about the size of an poultry egg) and the biggest bird in the world if you ask themselves. My favourite among the small birds are the great tit, since it's easy to teach it to feed from the palm of one's hand. Of course; you may end up feeding an entire family in a few weeks....

Your hummingbird feeders are great. I love to be able to look out the windows and see the birds feeding at the birdfeeders and the hummingbirds at theirs. The hummingbirds are my favorites.

Wishing you happy days ahead

I had a hummingbird feeder once but all of the nectar would run out of the bottom no matter what I tried! This one looks like it would attract quite the crowd and I bet you'll get some great pictures when they do start coming around!

Happy St Patrick's Day!

If I were a hummingbird I'd want some! I don' have a feeder, but one time from my kitchen window I saw a hummingbird come into the patio and flit around for a bot and then leave. It was such a pretty site -- I wished I had had something for him.

These are lovely. In Mississippi, the hummingbirds are thick all summer, arriving in May and leaving in October. I have seen six of them fighting over a single feeder. Until we lived there I didn't know that they will actually land and sit on the branches of a tree. It is amazing to hear the humming of their wings in the evening, even before you see the little red heads or red neck bands. I have no idea as to how far north their migration usually takes them.
