How have you dressed you windows? I know that some people prefer curtains while others prefer blinds. I suppose it depends upon the style of the house and the decor of the room as to which style of window dressing you might choose to use.

I have a mix or blinds and curtains in my 1920′s style home. I’ve found that curtains just don’t look right in my smaller spare bedrooms so I’ve opted to use Roman blinds which roll up into folds of material and have a curtain like effect. I also use mini blinds on my small basement windows as I find blinds makes it easier to allow the amount of light into the room that I want while making it hard for anyone outdoors to see into the room.
