We live in a desert. Phoenix Zoo is good in the fall/winter/spring. Last visit was in the spring. I chaperoned 4, third graders with my daughters class. It was fun to go with all the kids they behaved so nicely. We named ourselves the blue iguanas. Funny thing they had some inexpensive blue iguanas in the gift shop. I gave the kids each one as a reminder of the trip. I love the aquarium in Tn I was so amazed by the beluga he and I were one eye to eye.
