When we were at the art show on Saturday I came across this piece. Now I can’t wait for my shovel to rust up so that I can do something like this to it.
Don’t you just love it?
I love the mustache … the eyes and the Oooooooo mouth. Maybe he just got stabbed with a pitch fork?

I love it. What a great idea. I bet Crafty Gardener from Green Thumb Sunday will like it too. I think I will have a look around the farm now for anything I can use to do this sort of garden art with. Thanks for sharing.

I love it and already have the old shovel … just need to get the other items. And then figure out a way to join it together … we don’t do welding. Where there is a will there is a way. Thanks Sara for sending me the link.

Great idea for using a rusty shovel. Now I won’t feel so guilty that I forget to put mine away.
