When I started blogging back in February of this year I received a lot of the same kind of comments. I just chose to ignore them. I even wrote a post titled "Garden Blogsnobs" to describe the treatment I received. Anyhoo, write about what you love and are passionate about - I don't care if it's not gardening 24/7 - there are other things in life. I write about gardening, home, whatever interest me. If you don't like it, honey, move on. There'll always be critics - those who cal write write, those who can't are called critics. Keep up the good work and stop the fretting ! Frankly, though I discovered it through gardening references, I bloglined you because of the variety. I like blogs that stick to the topic as much as any other, but I really like blogs that give me other things to think about too. I think as companies see it helping, there will eventually be even more of a variety of opportunities for bloggers to take, and when that happens it will be easier to pick opps that fit our blogs better.
