A gift for his girl?

Wordless Wednesday

I found this adorable photo of a chipmunk holding a flower. Perhaps it was bringing the flower home to his wife?

I’m not sure what kind of flower the chipmunk is holding. It looks familiar and quite pretty, but I can’t think of the name of it. Does anyone know?

I’m guessing that he did something incredibly stupid at home (like disagreeing with his wife on something — anything) and this was his feeble attempt at a peace offering.

What an awesome shot. We have a couple of chipmunks livign in our yard. My kids love to watch for them at the window. What a treat it would be if we saw them doing this.
