I just can't help staring at these tulips! My neighbors just told me that it is not possible to grow tulips at our country since it is too cold and they won't survive much here!! Thanks for your beautiful gardening pictures and gardening tips and advice :)

love those tulips. On a day like today, it is hard to believe spring will ever come! My GTS is up, and a post detailing the 12 inches plus snow we have received today.

They are indeed very beautiful!

Great idea on the GTS - also, I have noticed a star beside some of the names on the GTS blogroll - what does that mean?

Beautiful tulips! The light there might be just the right one for them too.

Hey, I managed to get a GTS post up this Sunday despite a lot of problems with both my own health and other problems! Good girl hah? *giggles*

OK, it might not be as beautiful as your Tulip, but it's a very, very important subject!!!

These tulips are beau-ti-ful and the fact that they're naturalizing makes me want to add them to my wish list. Are they called purple beauties or is that just your description? :)

My GTS post is up. I like the check-in idea too. My garden is currently frozen and as it's small and very much in development, I don't have enough old material to tide me over. I'm hoping next year will be different!

Your photo hurt! I'd love to grow tulips but they just don't last here. The cold takes it's toll along with the deer, rabbits, moles and woodchucks. Thank goodness Daffodils thrive but they just don't have the colors of tulips.

I like the idea of checking in for GTS. I don't mind going through the original list since I find most interesting but I'd like to concentrate on those who actually posted for GTS

Those are beautiful. I also can't wait until spring. I have quite a few new things I want to plant this year and the back yard is in serious need of some cleanup as well.

I also like the check-in idea. Some weeks either I just don't have anything new to post (although with the amount of pictures I take I don't know why) or more likely it's been an extremely hard week at work and I just forgot.

I of the things I like to use on any of my weekly meme's is the blenza linkies at the bottom of my post, it allows for you to enter your link on the pages you visit, and shows up right there in the post.

Anyhow, my post is up as well, at the link.

As some of you know I've got two other blogs that participate in GTS and their posts are up now too!

I have a photo of one of my favorite roses - that I'm missing badly on <a href="http://www.feverishthoughts.com/2008/02/03/the-english-rose-abraham-darby/" rel="nofollow">Tricia's Musings</a> and yet another rose, that I rarely take photos of, in a post on <a href="http://blog.triciaswaterdragon.com/2008/02/03/pretty-pink-octavia-hill/" rel="nofollow">You are in My World Now</a>. Come take a peek if you have the time.

Aiyana I used to find that red or orangey red flowers were hard to photograph - especially in bright sunlight, but now that I have my new camera (a digital SLR)the colors come out so much better ... so I guess it might also be the camera that causes some flowers or colors to be a bit harder to photograph.

Glad to hear that you like the "check in" for GTS posts idea. It will make it easier for everyone to see who's participating each week and it will hopefully make it a bit easier for me to weed out those who haven't participated for a while too.

I'll come by to visit your site and any one else who's participating today in a few hours. It's late here and I've got to go to bed! ;)
