Ours was PRIED off! Yeppers, we've learned to love our $2,000 cluster box unit after three break-ins to the old vertical mailbox units installed in the 1980s. Amazing how vulnerable the old boxes are. Anyway we shot a video to show just how easy it is to get into the things. (Hint: butterknife) Fall off? Ours was PRIED off!

It doesn't fall off the wall, yet, but every time I put my hand in to get the mail out the lid moves to the right and falls in side the mailbox. I haven't resorted to buying a new one yet but i have thought about using duct-tape. We have a similar problem with our mailbox.
