I have heard that leaving dog fur will deter other animals from coming in that area. They see the dog fur as a predatory marking and scent and stay away. Did this experiment work? Did they really work ? For my country, we put a bottle of water at the place which cat will appear, and guess what, cat would not get close to the place with a bottle of water, reason ? I will be interested in reading the outcome of your trial.Some neighbours don't seem to realise how disturbing their behaviour can be. hopefully your new neighbours are a little less intense. I've used my cats' fur to deter rabbits from digging up my tulip bulbs. I even spread it around my plot at Rutgers Gardens to keep the woodchucks out.
