Wild Flower and a snail
Wordless Wednesday A wild flower that I came across while on a walk with my husband and dog in Toronto’s Taylor Creek Park. Do you see what’s above the flower? It’s a snail. A pest I’m sure, but it looked pretty beside the flower. After receiving a few comments I know believe that the flower above is a wild chicory.

A lovely shot, snail and all. I live in the desert, so I get flies in my flower pictures. Too dry for snails.

Snails are indeed pests around here. More so in my previous home, where they would devour everything in the garden.

Even if it’s a pest, one sure has to admire mother natures all diversities! And the patterns. Lovely.

Oh, I love the color contrast of his yellow and black shell against the blue of the flower. That’s a chicory flower, isn’t it?
