I'm not even sure I'd recognize the true ladybird beetle that lived here, anymore... The larger bug is yellow and more rounded than the red lady bug. The yellow can bite and are always terrible this time of year. I was at the cemetery the other day and had to keep knocking them off me. I don't believe they are considered true lady bugs and I think this is their mating season. Sandy Are they red, or yellow? I seen more on the other side of Washington state. Interesting how many lady bugs you seen. It amazes me that people don't seem to be as afraid of ladybugs as they are other beetles.
