I took all of these photos in early September. The garden was looking magnificent at the time.

The heat of summer was calming and we’d been getting enough rain that combined with regular watering all the plants were in fine form.

Here’s another view of my garden from 2003. This photo was taken just a little further down the garden bed than the last picture that I posted yesterday.

In this photo you can see the poppy heads, asiatic lily, gladiola, red poppy, beebalm, a different type of delphinium than in the first photo, nicotina, marigolds, pansies [...]
