I grew Zucchini the first couple of years that I had my garden and some of them got quite big, but I don’t think any of them ever got to be this size. That’s a huge Zucchini!
I guess it deserves the seat belt.

Mallow - just a lovely simple flower07.30.08

Wordless Wednesday

Not only is Mallow lovely, but it’s easy to grow. At least here in Southern Ontario. I suspect it would be easy to grow just about anywhere since it’s a hardy and fairly drought resistant plant.

Rudbeckia bud about to bloom07.23.08

I love the way Rudbeckia (also known as Black eyed Susan) buds unfurl as they prepare to bloom. They look like some kind of alien creature about to be born don’t they?
