Honest answer Gargamello!

May I add one more thing to your learning arsenal? When playing difficult phrasings, tape yourself and play it back to pick up what you need to work on. I've done this more then once and it's really worth it!

Keep on Jammin' Gargamello!

Thanx again VintageP, I can always count on your input!

May I suggest working on the acoustic first. I've found out that if you can rock and sound great on a acoustic and nail the song right, then the transformation to electric will be soooo much more simpler!

Been playing on and off since I was 12 (am now 31). Been in a couple of bands and done several gigs, both playing bass nad guitar on separate occasions. Writing stuff at the moment and posting it on my blog and hopefully getting together to do another gig soon.

Beginner acoustic guitar player here, I like the nylon strings and the blues and minor scales. I was initially attracted by the modern flamenco sounds of Rodrigo y Gabriela but found that impossible to play, so I'm just working my way through the scales and chord combos now, trying to convince my fingers to learn.

You have a nice blog keep up the good work.

Musician since highschool - Bedroom guitarist so far (began on guitar at age 50 two years ago) but reached intermediate level and will be starting in a band this summer.

Have the guitar standards such as Les Paul and Strat and began working on acoustic a month or so ago.

Having fun!
