Gatemouth was one hell of an artist. He mixed jazz, blues, new orleans, and country into his own unique brew. I heard about his death after Katrina and couldn’t help feeling like the impact of the loss was too much for him. Anyway who knows, but he was a great player and artist.

Wow, your such as GREAT person to have helped out in such a tragic event. Hats off to you and everyone who helped out there!

While volunteering there, was this a common thing that you came across? I am not trying to be morbid, I just want to know if things of this horrible magnitude happened often. Please post in this comment area for everyone to witness for themselves. I hope that you and your other volunteers are not too truamatiz with what you went through.
