You probably know that Canada is a Commonwealth Country – which means that the Queen of England is our Representative.
Her face is on Canadian money from coins to bills, and she maintains several residences in Canada even though she, and members of her family, rarely come to Canada for official visits. I guess we get a royal visit every few years, but it’s not often at all.
