A 6 year old German Shepherd mix dog named Buddy wandered into an Emergency room at the Kaiser Permanente hospital in Bellflower California after being hit by a car.
Buddy resisted efforts to remove him from the ER department. He was apparently waiting for someone to attend to his injured hind leg which did indeed turn out to be broken.
A vet ended up fixing Buddy up and his owner was located by scanning Buddy’s implanted microchip.
That’s one smart dog if you ask me! Buddy new where to go for help .. well ok, if he was a genius dog he would have gone to a vets office, but he was smart enough to visit a hospital when he needed help. Good for Buddy.
Aw. poor doggy. Smart boy. Glad they fixed him up.
German Shepherds have to be the smartest dogs there are, I used to have one as a kid, probably the smartest dog I’ve ever had, although she was never as smart as the dog you mentioned!!
