Major criminals caught because of minor infractions

How many times have you heard stories about criminals that have done some stupid everyday kind of thing that ends up being what gets them caught?

I know I’ve written enough stories like that here on Odd Planet!

You know the ones that have expired tags on their vehicles or a broken tail light? Basically minor traffic infractions that end up getting them caught for major crimes!

Once such criminal is Larenzo Dixon, 22 of San Diego. He was arrest in March at a downtown transit station during a police crackdown on jaywalkers.

A routine check of the illegal jaywalker turned up a murder warrant on Dixon from Louisiana.

There’s a reason they say criminals are so dumb. They didn’t end up as criminals because they’re so scholarly right?

Have you heard about this Belgian dude who killed his wife and daughter, hid the corpses in his freezer, invited a friend over, let him put away the left-overs in the freezers and guess what that friend found :D

You know, I think this all dates back to the days of Al Capone … once he was taken for tax evasion I think the floodgates were opened ;)

I love it, I love when people do dumb thing and get caught. Wouldn’t you be playing it so close to the vest if you had some things you needed to hide?

    Hehehe!

That is too funny. No wonder I’m always getting pulled over. They clearly want me for more than running a stop sign I guess.

You know the funny thing is I was thinking about this the other day when I was pulled over by a cop with a headlight out. I had a bat in the back of my car and I thought…he probably is going to think I am a murderer. He asked me for my license and registration and he said, “I am going to check that you aren’t an axe murderer.” Wow…weird.

    Hey

Did you hear about the NYPD, they had read lots of these stories so went crazy booking people for all sorts of tiny infractions. In the end it didn’t make much difference though, apparently
