Not Woody

Wordless Wednesday

IMG_0221

This is another photo that we took when we were at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition on Saturday.

I’d love to have purchased this woodpecker for my garden. Maybe it would scare away the pigeons that like to hang out in our yard.

The metal artwork at this booth was very expensive. I’m not sure how much that woodpecker was but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a couple hundred dollars.

Wow, when I first stumbled upon this post I thought I was looking at an extremely odd looking bird (because I thought that was real). The only thing stranger would be the “birds of paradise” I saw on Planet Earth on Discovery a couple months ago.

Anyway, cool photo, but I feel like an idiot for wondering if it was real for a second.

It reminds me of Woody Woodpecker. I like the metal artwork. It is very beautiful. Nice shot, by the way.

May you have a happy WW (=

We had one just like that a few years ago, just hung around our living room.

I love that. It is one of the few garden ornaments I would not mind having in my garden!

Wow, made of metal - would be a nice piece indeed.
Ive seen folks using large plastic owls on a post to scare off pigeons, I think you can get them at hardware stores - wonder if that would help you. Happy WW! I played too, with a pic of a Kangaroo!
