Whatever floats your boat … er … bike?

00036406

Ok now I’ve seen everything. Never in my wildest imagination did I think that someone could take a bike ride on the water! Pretty ingenious when you think about it though, isn’t it?

Just strap some pontoons onto your bike and you’re ready for a nice circuit of the lake. LOL

Have you ever seen anything like this before?

Interesting, I guess cycling makes some sort of propellers go I think?

And trying to think up a word that crosses between a boat and a bike, maybe a “boke”?

That is a fantastic piece of well managed engineering. I am curious to keep some name to that vehicle. By the way how it turns.

This is amazing, but perfect idea. I am from Split, that is city on the coast, and i think it could be perfect idea to make this one for renting in summer. It would be atraction and good way of making money. Thanks for sharing this!

There is neither air pollution nor noise pollution they can ride wherever they like and also cycling is also good for health :)

I think I can see two poles vertical from the center of the back wheels which must link to either side of a propeller type thing. That’s clever and definately a different way of getting about. It looks rather fun!

    That is awesome.

I enjoy paddle boating in the summer but I always find the pedals to be not suited for comfortable peddling for long periods. Using a bicycle for this same purpose would definitely assist in peddling long distances.

That’s the funny thing I’ve seen in awhile. How does one launch? Wouldn’t think the pontoons would be sturdy enough for one to stand in order to actually get on the bike? And, do they actually move? I mean the pedals are above water, so how is the boat propelled? Very interesting.
