A spurned Chinese wife from the Eastern province of Shandong China was so upset with her husband that she set more than 400 cell phones on fire!
The couple co-owned a successful retail business and when her husband walked out on their marriage she retaliated by destroying their stock of mobile phones valued at more than $42,000 US. After she set fire to the phones she walked out of the house.
Luckily neighbors saw smoke coming from the house and called the firefighters who extinguished the blaze quickly.
The 37 year old woman has been arrested for arson.
Back in December a 25 year old woman was arrested for assaulting her then boyfriend.
The couple had been in the shower when they began arguing over whether the boyfriends dog could join them. The woman objected to allowing the dog in the shower stating it would be a relationship deal breaker. The boyfriend then responded by saying that he hoped his next girlfriend would appreciate the dog more.
According to police that was when the woman lost it and began punching her boyfriend several times in the face. The man apparently ended up with a dislocated shoulder as well!
Sounds pretty kinky to me.
In October a Michigan sheriff offered to perform a wedding ceremony for two thieves who’d been knocking over banks to fund their nuptials.
All they had to do was turn themselves in.
“I’ll volunteer to marry them in jail if they surrender,” said Lapeer County Sheriff Ron Kalanquin.
The couple robbed a bank of $5,000 a few weeks ago to buy wedding rings and pay for other expenses related to their wedding.
There’s no word as to whether the couple turned themselves in or not.

His parents have said that it’s ok if he uses his middle name, Alexander, when he’s older but for now the newborn goes by the name of Wrigley. I suppose that’s an appropriate enough name for a newborn, but once this child’s a few years old that name won’t fly. Of course his last name is Fields.
The Michigan City, Indiana couple are big fans of the Cubs and they’ve had this name planned for years.
Spokeswoman for the Cubs, Katelyn Thrall has said that the name might be a first as the team has no record of any other children who’ve been named Wrigley. However there have been a few children named after famous Cubs such as Zambrano, and Ryne.
