This weeks theme is Metal
Mooses? I don’t think that there’s a plural for moose …

We took this photo of a metal moose while attending an Art fair here in Toronto. This moose is made out of a recycled oil tank!
This second moose was found in front of a Chicago building.

Do you have interesting animal artwork or statues in your city?

Have you ever had the pleasure of attending a Banana Derby? I haven’t but it sure sounds like a lot of fun.
Haven’t heard of the Banana Derby? Well it’s a show consisting of monkeys riding dogs in the Banana Derby race course. If you’ve ever been to one you likely came across it at a local fair or festival. I’ll bet you it was free to watch too.
If your town is planning their annual festival or fair it might be worth letting them know that they can request that the Banana Derby be brought in as a self contained attraction. It’s certainly a unique and unusual event and I’m sure it would draw big crowds.
Just imagine all of the parents bringing their kids to the Banana Derby, building memories and taking pictures that will last forever. It would be a day to remember.
The Banana Derby always draws the media to it’s shows too. For fair and festival planners it would be great to be able to publicize your event with the inclusion of the Banana Derby, as the festival would probably end up getting more media attention. When the Banana Derby was on tour with the Barnes and Baily circus in the recent past they ended up being featured on WVVA-TV.
Give your fair or festival a little more flair by adding the Banana Derby to your list of attractions.
I think I mentioned the Megaglobe - International Search Engine that is set to launch at anytime, I think.
Just to refresh your memory. MegaGlobe is set to be a huge search engine that might rival the big three very soon. The MegaGlobe search engine will be published in over 30 Countries, and in more than 45 different languages. Now that is a search engine with a huge reach.
Megaglobe has felt that webmasters aren’t properly recognized or compensated by the current pay - per- click programs offered by at least two of the big three search engines and they hope to rectify this situation shortly after they launch by inviting webmasters to host ads on their site. They are promising high rewards and fair compensation for sales or clicks based on keyword pricing.
Keep an eye on this site as I believe it’s set to launch at any time and it would be great to get in on a new program just as it starts.
Bruce McMahan, in 2004 at the age of 65, whose success with his McMahan Securities hedge fund in the 1990s made him one of America’s wealthiest men, married perhaps unofficially his own daughter who had been born of a 1968 McMahan fling following a two-year affair.
All of this information is accorded to a September report in Florida’s Broward-Palm Beach New Times, based on court documents generated when the daughter sought a break-up.
McMahan denied the affair and the marriage, but New Times found, among other things, many wedding photos and marriage-acknowledging e-mails, and reference to a vibrator laden with “evidence.” All lawsuits relating to the matter were settled, and the files sealed by the court, in early September.
Hmm a vibrator laden with evidence? Father and daughter must have had an active sex life.
