Kickstime is having a big sale!

Hey with the holidays coming up soon I bet quite a few of you are beginning to do your shopping. If you are you might want to visit Kickstime.com where you can take advantage of their back in business sale and get some great deals!

If you need to buy shoes for the kids or yourself take a look at their selection of Air Jordans, Bathing Apes and Air Dunks - both of which are on sale right now.

Of course they don’t just sell running shoes. They have a selection of Prada and Gucci shoes as well as Red Monkey Jeans, Evisu jeans, hoodies, shirts, handbags and hats.

The company is based in London, England but they ship world wide. I always appreciate an online store that offers international shipping. As well as shipping worldwide they ship for free!

Another thing that I like about this company is that there are several ways to contact them if need be. You can write to them using their postal address or by email or call their toll free number. Most online stores don’t offer a telephone number let alone a toll free one so I appreciate that Kickstime.com does this.

As I said if you are starting to shop for the holidays visit this online store. You might find an item that would make a perfect gift for one of your friends or relatives.

Free Beer in Wisconsin?

The Wisconsin State Senate and Assembly have approved measures to allow beer give-aways. This proposal would permit free beer samples of up to 6 ounces for people of legal drinking age.

Supporters say the free beer would be offered along the same lines as a wine tasting which are already legal in the state. Pete Marino, a spokesman for Miller, said it’s a great opportunity for consumers to try beer before spending their hard earned money.

The beer bill may or may not have passed at this time. This story is a few weeks old. Anybody know if this got passed?

Oh and who’s moving to Wisconsin?

Securely store passwords and data on SpyShakers

If you’re like me, you sometimes use the computer at work to visit some of your favorite sites. Perhaps you don’t even have a computer and view the internet at internet cafes or on library computers? Don’t you hate having to try to remember all your passwords for the sites you enjoy visiting? In fact, you might have trouble remembering the addresses of some of those sites too.

Well, if you visit the internet from more than just your home computer you might like the program that’s been created by Grant City Ventures Inc. It’s called Spyshakers. You can create an account at the site that you’ll be able access from any computer. Store you favorite sites, login data such as passwords in your Spyshakers account.

All of the data that you input into your Spyshakers account will be kept private and secure. Your data is encrypted with a key that is unknown to all but yourself.

Set up your free account now if you like the idea of Spyshakers. You can also watch a demo of how Spyshakers works at the Spyshakers site.

I might start doing podcasts

As I surf the web I keep seeing more and more blogs with Podcasts - audio and video podcasts. I’ve actually been thinking of doing video podcasts on my new site Guitar Licks as I’d like to talk about music, instruments and maybe even give mini video guitar lessons on the site.

One things that’s been stopping me though is that audio and video podcasts take up a lot of bandwidth and storage space.

Luckily, If I decide to go ahead with my plan I won’t have to worry about that anymore because I just visited mypodcast.com where they offer Free Podcast service. I can store my podcasts on the site, and have unlimited bandwidth too. All for free! That’s fantastic!

So, I wanted to let all my readers know about this great new site. I know the people who are already doing their own podcasts will be interested, but maybe some of you are like me and you are just thinking about doing podcasts. Why not give it a try over at mypodcast.com. You have absolutely nothing to lose and a lot to gain given the popularity of podcasts.

Go for it!
