This weeks theme is Important This weeks Photo hunter theme is important and I’m having a hard time deciding just what to post. There are so many things that are important to me. I’d post a photo of my wife, but she hates having her photo taken so I don’t have many to chose from and uh she’d probably kill me for posting a photo of her anyway! Family, friends and music are important to me. I’ve always been a very social person. Talkative my wife would say. So it’s easy for me to have a good time just about anywhere I go because I talk to anyone. I think I’ve met just about all of our neighbors. Not just the ones next door either. I work three blocks from our home and I think I know just about all the neighbors within that three block range. The photo above is of our neighbor Sofie. I was playing guitar in our backyard one day and she was out in her garden. Just for fun I wanted to try to give Sofie a lesson but it didn’t go so well. The photos’ great though isn’t it? Sofie rocks!

Our neighbor rocks!
This weeks theme is Music I know my wife has talked about our elderly neighbor, Sofie, on a few of her sites. She calls Sofie her stalker because she follows my wife around whenever she’s outside and even stares at her from her windows. She’s a cool lady though. She’s Macedonian and likes to pretend she doesn’t understand English very well, but she does … oh she does. Anyway … one day I was in my backyard playing guitar and I got an idea for a photo. I ran back in the house and got one of my other guitars and coaxed Sofie into holding it. It does look like we are playing music, doesn’t it? Her kids and grandkids just love this photo.

Old Beatle guitar resurfaces
At the beginning of March a guitar that had been owned by Paul McCartney, one that he’d thrown into a crowd during a Beatles concert many years ago, turned up in a school in Montenegro.
McCartney had tossed the Hofner Violin bass guitar into the audience after its neck broke. Milan Dobrilovic, a Montenegrin cameraman, said he had received the guitar from his cousin Dario Persi who was the fan who caught the instrument.
Dobrilovic recently donated the guitar to a music school in Herceg Novi, a tiny town on the country’s Adriatic coast.
The violin-shaped Hofner guitar was made famous by McCartney, who adopted it in 1961 and still uses the same model.
Guitars proven to have been owned by former Beatles members including McCartney and John Lennon have sold at auction for up to 330,000 pounds (640,000 dollars) in recent years.
Wolf whistles
Wordless Wednesday Can’t you just hear the I’m not sure where this photo was taken. I have the feeling that it might have been at some kind of pet show, since the dogs look to be of the same breed and are sitting so obiediently as that cool cat walks by. Besides … a cat on a leash? Who does that? Ok ok one of our neighbors does, but she talks to trees and telephone poles too. If you want to see a kind of funny photo of me you should visit my guitar blog. It’s worth the visit. I’ve got lipstick on my forehead! Want to Join Wordless Wednesday’s? Sign up here:wolf dog whistles as this lovely super model cat is paraded by the crowd?
