Last minute gift ideas

Optics Planets continues to have a great deals on a huge selection of gift ideas. Every time I visit the site I find a new product that I hadn’t notice before, and I think about the possibilities of it as a gift or as a cool item for myself. Yeah sometimes I’m like that when I’m buying gifts- one for you, one for me. Do you do that?

Right now I’m looking at their line of prescription sunglasses. My brother loves his Rx sunglasses- wears them everywhere, so maybe getting him a pair would be a good gift idea? Of course I’d need to know exactly what his eye wear prescription is first. Hmmm ok, well I know he attends a lot of baseball and football games in the Windy city of Chicago. Perhaps a pair of binoculars then. Actually I just got a great idea. He’s got a deck on the back of the house. It’s not very well light because he likes it dark. In fact it’s so dark you can see the stars because you don’t have the light around you obscuring your vision of the night sky. I wonder if he’d like a telescope so that he could look at the stars (and knowing him his neighbors)?

I’m going to have to think on this for another day or two, then I’ll go back and visit Optics Planets, the sponsor of this post, and pick out something for my brother. It’s great that I’ll probably end up getting free shipping too since they offer UPS delivery free on orders over $29.95.

Raelians and the Paranormal

» by Tricia in: My Renters

Clitoraid?

What the heck is that? Find out by visiting my roomie, the Paranormal blog, where the current post discusses the lack of scientific study into UFO’s and the odd humanitarian efforts of a space lovin’ cult called the Raelians - remember them? It’s a short post. Check it out.

The Paranormal blog

» by Tricia in: My Renters

I finally decided to rent my space on Odd Planets new space.

I spent a bit of time going over the various bidders sites and decided to choose The Paranormal Blog. Oh Scary stories! Ghosts, Hauntings and all kinds of other paranormal activities. Mathew and Sue are both from my part of the world - Toronto, Canada - and you can read a few interesting stories about the city I live in, and perhaps even some of the hospitals I’ve worked in if you browse through the site.

The current post is about the evils of moderating a large forum. Never mind that it’s a paranormal forum. I moderate a forum and several mailing lists. I feel their pain. The post also discusses death threats, the word of Satan and more. Curious? Visit the Paranormal blog and read the post.

Dead Silence - I really like this blog, but then I kind of like reading about serial killers and the evils that people do. Check it out!

Slightly Drunk - They just got satilite TV and there’s a big dilemma to resolve!

Am I famous Now - Wishing life were simple. It’s not, just when you think it is everything changes again.

Forever 17: She’s renting her space too and has a nice introduction for her renter, and in another post she’s dealing with an idiot.

Lilfunky1s blog - The current post talks about donating blood and what the experience was like, as well as how important it is for all of us who can to donate blood. Go, go now!

It’s click and comment monday! Visit my renter, leave a comment on their site, then move on by visit a link on their blogroll. Visit at least five sites and leave comments, spread the love!

Leave a link (and a comment too!) if you are a Click and comment participant:
