Here’s a few accident prone people that you wouldn’t want working on your property:
- Inspecting the Dukovany nuclear power plant in Moravia in September, an unnamed American official with the International Atomic Energy Agency wandered away from the group and fell into a water tank. I hope that water wasn’t tainted!
- In September, firefighters in Spokane, Wash., rescued a worker whose head had become stuck in a water meter enclosure for about four hours. How does one get their head stuck in a water meter enclosure?
- In October, when Turkey’s prime minister Tayyip Erdogan fainted from low blood sugar, his security team rushed him to a hospital but mistakenly locked him and the keys inside his fortified car; after they pounded on it for a while, a nearby construction worker with a sledgehammer saved the day. That could have been a life and death situation for the Prime Minister. I think he needs a new security team- don’t you?

Now here’s a cool idea! How many times have you been somewhere and remembered something you needed to get, or something you had to do later that day or some time during the week? When that happens you rarely write it down. You just tell yourself- ok I’ve got to remember that. You do that too don’t you?
Well now when that happens to you, you can simply dial a toll free number on your cell phone or on any regular telephone and call a toll free number and leave yourself a message. COOL huh?
This is a new service that was recently started by a company called BrainCast. Whenever you leave yourself a message you’ll get an email to remind you about the message. You can organize your messages into categories too and if you do – then when when you look them up on the Braincast site they’ll be organized. You can leave a message from just about anywhere, and because your messages are in one location online you can also retrieve your messages from any computer, cell phone or telephone. Easy and it’s free too!
This service works on all US based cell and telephone networks.

If you have ads on your site- google adsense, text link ads or if you write blog posts that advertise for other companies and websites – you might want to create a disclosure policy to post somewhere on your blog. You can tell your readers exactly where you stand on the issue of paid ads and making money on your website in one easy to create statement.
I just created my own Disclosure policy using the Disclosure Policy Generator.
The generator was very easy to use – 6 steps I believe. Simply choose the statements that best describe your sites policy get to the end and click finish. Then all you need to do is copy and paste the disclosure policy that you’ve pasted into a post or a page on your site. You can change the wording once you copy the disclosure that you’ve created to suit your sides description better.
If you scroll down to the bottom of my site – yep right there under ODD PAGES – yep that’s it, click the plus sign beside the words “Odd Pages” and you’ll find my disclosure policy in there. Read it and let me know what you think of it. I think it’s a great way of being open and honest with your readers.
