Can you imagine yourself sitting inside your apartment when your neighbor starts breaking through your door with a chain saw?
Well that’s what happened to Jamie Zaleski when 34 year old Robert Kane who was angry because one of Zaleski’s friends parked in front of his house used a chainsaw to get into Zaleski’s house.
The incident happened in Scranton, Pa last March. Zaleski and several of his friends ran out the back when the attack began.
Police say Zaleski heard a knock at the door, asked who it was, and Kane responded, “Your worst (expletive) nightmare. Open the door or I’ll cut it down.”
Officials say, he then cut a gash in the door with a chain saw.
The defense said Zaleski never actually saw Kane wielding the saw. But a witness testified that Kane bragged about the incident, and the jury convicted Kane on Tuesday of attempted burglary, terroristic threats and other charges. A sentencing date wasn’t immediately set.

Benton, Ill police have arrested and charged a woman, Tabitha Artis, with disorderly conduct for allegedly making several 911 calls that the police didn’t consider true emergencies.
Artis was persistently dialing up the county’s 911 system. She first called 911 last Saturday to complain that her husband had left their home with her car keys. A neighbor later reported that the Artises were fighting and the police ended up taking Mr. Artis away on a suspected parole violation.
Shortly after the first call Tabitha Artis called 911 three times during a 25 minute period. She was calling to demand an explanation for her husbands arrest. Emergencies were already busy with calls regarding a weather related power outage and since she could have been calling the police station directly, the police decided to arrest the woman.

Is this a smart of desperate cat? Or both?
My niece has door handles like that at her house and her Labrador Retriever has figured out how to get out a few times! luckily she lives in a quite neighborhood with little chance of her dog getting hit by a car. Still … it’s not good when pets get out unexpectedly is it?
Do you have a pet that’s figured out how to get out of the house through a door or window or perhaps out of it’s cage or crate?
