It seems that we keep hearing more and more often about people having problems with drugs, alcohol and even Pain Killer Addiction, don’t we? Viagra sold over the counter in British Pharmacies

On Valentines day men were able to buy Viagra over the counter in Britain for the first time ever.

Three Manchester Boots pharmacies will sell the prescription-only medication in a pilot program that began on February 14th.

Men between the ages of 30 and 65 who are suffering from erectile dysfunction are now able to buy as many as four pills at a time for 50 pounds ($97) without having to get a prescription from a doctor first. They’ll have a private consultation with a Boots pharmacist instead where their medical history will be discussed and they’ll have their blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar levels tested.

When they return to the pharmacy for more pills they’ll need to see a private doctor to be sure that they are suitable for more pills.

“By creating a service that is easily accessible on the high street we hope that we help many more men seek help for a very common condition,” said Boots Director of Health care Alex Gourlay.

He said it was estimated that only one in 10 men suffering from erectile dysfunction were currently being treated.

A national roll out of the Viagra service will be assessed later in the year.

Woman charged with Malicious castration

This story might make the men reading it feel a little queasy … A woman in Lillington, N.C who was attending a Christmas Party grabbed a mans genitals and injured him badly enough that he needed to get more than 50 stitches to repair the damage to his privates.

The woman, Rebecca Arnold Dawson was charged with malicious castration. I haven’t heard that term before but it certainly fits. She had been attending the party hosted by the injured mans girlfriend when the incident occurred. The three of them were quite drunk at the time.

Police aren’t saying exactly how the damage occurred- only that no weapon was used. “I believe he needed more than 50 stitches to repair the damage, but he is back home at this point,” police Cpl. Brad Stevens said. “All we can tell you is that the injury was done with her hands.”

She’s either a vicious woman or the man said or did something that she thought deserved that kind of attack. Hopefully I’ll come across some more information on this story - It’s got to have been something interesting or outrageous to have prompted this kind of attack!
