A would be thief in Vernon, B.C. took no for an answer two out of three times! In the end his persistence paid off.
It all started last Tuesday evening when the man entered a Vernon Square Dollar Store at about 5:45 pm. He demanded money but the cashier refused and he left. The then entered a Money Mart at 7:20 pm, pulled a knife, and demanded money. Again, the teller refused to hand over the cash so he left. (why’d he bother with the knife?)
Finally, at about 9 p.m. he robbed a gas station and fled with an undisclosed amount of money. I guess they finally took him seriously at the gas station.
He is described as a skinny man in his 20s with light brown or blond hair, about five-foot-six.
I guess as the saying goes, if you fail, try and try again. He sure did!

A Tallahassee Florida police officer came upon a man last Friday who was walking his dog on the beach while in the nude.
The police officer asked the man what he was doing and he replied to the officer “Allah told me to watch a Bruce Willis movie and walk the dog”. The man apparently refused to follow the officer’s commands and ended up being tasered as it was the only way to subdue the man without having to hurt him.
The man was then sent for mental-health evaluation and treatment.

A Wis. man, Peter W. Mischler, 48, came home on a Saturday after he’d been out hunting. He was upset with his 22 year old daughter, who was talking on the phone with her mother at the time, as she had let the goats out and they’d made a mess.
While the daughter was still on the phone the man told his daughter to ask her mother to bring home some beer but the wife refused.
Angrily he threatened to shoot the goats if she didn’t bring home beer.
She didn’t bring any beer home and shortly after she arrived back at the house the mother and daughter heard four gunshots outside. They went outside and found one of their two goats with it’s entrails hanging out.
Mischler was charged in Circuit Court with mistreatment of animals, possession of a firearm while intoxicated and disorderly conduct with a dangerous weapon.
The poor injured goat was shot by a deputy to put it out of it’s misery.
Mischler posted $1000 cash bond and was released. No word on whether he returned home to his wife and daughter.
