Anything will do when beating off a burglar

A yonkers home owner discovered an intruder in his home early one morning at 1:30 am. He could hear the man banging the kitchen door and fumbling with the door knob as he attempted to break into the home.

The homeowner opened to door to see who was trying to get in and the intruder barged into his home.

That’s when the homeowner, unsure of the safety of his children and wife upstairs, grabbed the fire extinguisher and sprayed the would be robber with foam. He then hit him over the head with the fire extinguisher and held him down until the police arrived to arrest the burglar.

The intruder was taken to the hospital by the police and treated for minor wounds. He was scheduled to be arraigned in Yonkers City Court on a felony charge of second degree attempted burglary.

Smarter Dummies

» by Chris in: Technology

Automakers and safety researchers are beginning to use new high tech dummies for their crash tests and this could mean in the long run that we’ll be safer. Researchers can put the high tech dummies through more tests so they can be tested to a larger extent in worse crashes. G M bought 5 of the i-Dummies from First technology and Safety Systems.

Now kids can’t play tag?

Good Grief, what else are they going to ban?

Add two more Massachusetts primary schools to the list of US schools that have been banning the age-old game of tag for fear that children may get hurt and their parents will sue. Officials at McCarthy Elementary School told the local media that the children have been ordered to invent a new no-contact version of the game for safety reasons.

“If the hands come out to touch, then the supervisors ask them to stop,” McCarthy principal Joan Vodoklys was quoted as saying in the Boston Herald Friday. “What we require is that children do not touch each other.”

Do these kids still have gym class? If they do that will probably be banned next. Don’t children need to run around and play to burn off all that extra energy? I some how made it through primary school without hurting myself so badly that my parents thought to sue the school.

What do you think of schools banning games of tag?

Aw, poor, poor kitty.

No don’t feel sorry for that little goldfish. Feel sorry for the cat ’cause you know he’s not going to give up. He’s going to try and try - every day. That fish is going to taunt him from within it’s safe clear walls. The fish is in more danger of being overfed than of being caught by that daring cat.

Poor, poor Kitty. LOL
