In June a Reno Nevada homicide detective, David Jenkins was sitting inside his unmarked car – one equipped with emergency lights on the dash and a police radio chattering away) when 19 year old Mercedes Green hopped into the car.
Green propositioned the detective for sex saying “You’re not the police are you?” as she propositioned him. The detective asked her “What do you think?” and she replied “I didn’t think so”.
Once she was arrested Mercedes explained that the didn’t think police were allowed to wear glasses so that’s why she didn’t believe he was an officer of the law.
Hmm if she didn’t think he was a cop I wonder what she thought the police radio and emergency light were for when she saw them? Duh!

Can’t leave it behind …
Di Yerbury, retired vice Chancellor of Australia’s Macquarie University is battling with her successor over her past spending habits.
Her successor was so incensed that she seized 1000 pieces of art that Yerbury had tried to take with her as she left.
Yerbury states that many of the works she tried to remove were her own personal property that she had on display. The art work included a painting of a womans derrière that she said she posed for 31 years earlier, and this past February she even offered to have the then-wife of the painter testify that the posterior is indeed Yerbury’s.
In another turn of events …
A former pastor and Southern Baptist leader, Lonnie Latham, who had for years preached against homosexuality, was arrested outside a hotel in Oklahoma city in 2006. He was charged with soliciting a lewd encounter with a man. Rather than apologize, Latham demanded a trial to proclaim is constitutional right to engage in consensual sex with an adult male. In March he was acquitted.

Jesse Hale, a music major at Austin peay State university says that she’s “always had the desire to play the cello naked”.
She’s a member of the CJ boyd Sexxxtet of nude cellists who play their experimental chantlike songs in concert around the country.
Hale, who says she’s been playing naked since sixth grade, explained to Austin Peay’s newspaper in September that cellists “make full-body contact with their instrument,” so that “it just feels natural.”
Wow, I wonder what her father or brothers thought of her playing the cello naked in their home as a teenager?
