Win a date with a celebrity!

I don’t know if my wife would like this, but I’ve been thinking of entering the seduce a Celeb contest at GoFish.com. The contest is running for the next 14 weeks, and to enter the contest all you have to do is submit some creative videos.

Ok, I’ll tell you more … but remember I might be competing with you if you enter! You could win a date with the lovely Mirelly Taylor. She’s been in movies such as Kiss Me again, and Serving Sara. She’s also been in some popular television shows like Punk’d, Las Vegas and Numb3rs.

I actually really like the way that GoFish.com is working this contest. It’s perhaps the very first online program where the audience can participate and become part of the show. The audience of course who do participate will become contestants by submitting their videos.

If you want to learn more about the contest you should go to watch the Free videos at GoFish.com. This link will take you to the contest page where you can watch Mirelly tell you all about the contest and the three “call to actions” that you must do in your three separate videos. You’ll need to create three videos because each one will be for a single call to action. These actions may seduce Mirelly into wanting to go on that date with you if you’re really creative.

Whatever you do, if you decide to enter the contest – have fun with it. I think this is a fantastic idea. It’s really different from many of the other “win a date” type of shows. The biggest difference is that by your own choice you can become a participant. How cool is that?

I’m having fun just watching what my “competition” has already submitted. Some of the videos are really good, others are down right hilarious.

If you enter or don’t enter be sure to check out the contest page and maybe even watch a bit of the show. Andrew Firestone from The Bachelor, and Scott Sternberg – an Emmy award winning producer. It sure turn out to be a pretty good production.

Most boring Art exhibit

Simon Pope’s “Gallery Space Recall” exhibit at the Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff, Wales, in October is a startlingly empty room, with patrons called upon to supply the art by imagining another art show they have seen so that, wrote Pope, the two exhibits “exist at two locations simultaneously, both here and there.”

Pope wrote that the exhibit suggested the brain-injury disorder “reduplicative paramnesia,” in which a person has a delusional belief that something exists at two places at once.

What about the people that have never been to an Art exhibit before? How could they imagine another exhibit that they attended? Art is supposed to be objective but I think this is going just a little bit too far.

White and Nerdy

Everyone having a great Monday? Yeah, I thought so, I’m not that big on Mondays either.

Maybe this Weird Al video will make you laugh. Actually I’m pretty sure it will. Check it out:

It’s also Click and Comment Monday. I don’t have a renter right now, so click on a link in my blogroll bellow and leave a comment at that site, then visit their renter or someone on their blogroll. Do this for at least 5 people to pass on the bloggy love.
