Stay in a luxury vacation home on your next holiday

I was just looking at some of the vacation home rentals that are listed at Rocky Point rentals and I think that perhaps the next time we vacation in Mexico that we might rent a vacation home rather than stay at a resort or hotel.

The vacation homes and condos are all luxurious, have beach front views, fully equipped kitchens and satellite TV. You certainly don’t always get that when you stay in a hotel or a resort.

Just for the heck of it I decided to check on the availability of vacation rentals starting March 30th for a 6 night stay for two. There were a number of vacation homes to choose from, and when I checked the price I found that they were quite reasonable. The cost of renting one of these luxury homes for a week was about the same as staying at a resort or less.

However, think about all the extra space – many of these rental homes have two to four bedrooms, the ability to cook your own food, and in many cases not only a beach front view, but the beach pretty much right at your door.

I think it would be much nicer to take a vacation and rent a home for a week. I think you’d end up saving money and having a much more relaxing vacation. I mean, I’d rather have a whole house to lounge around in than a cramped hotel room any day!

If you like the idea of staying in a luxury vacation home or condo on your next holiday remember to visit oceano-rentals.com.

Strange incidents

A woman in Waterville, Maine claimed on November 10th that she suspected that someone had sabotaged her washing machine.

She reported her suspicions to the police and officers went out to investigate. After a short investigation it was determined that an unbalanced load of laundry had cause the machine to shake.

Now isn’t that a good use of police services?

This man had a little bit more reason to report a burglary to the police in Muncie Indiana on November 4th. He’d returned from the hospital on that day and he found that his 36 inch Samsung TV was missing. It had been replaced with an RCA TV that happened to be missing it’s power cord.

Knick Nacks and other items had been placed around the new TV in an attempt to disguise the difference.

Hmmm I bet his thieves will turn out to be someone he knows or someone that’s been in his house before.

Almost changed to Satellite TV today

I’ve had quite the day! Earlier today we had a cable company technician here for three, yes three hours! We had to call the company the other night because we noticed that some of the shows were were taping or just plain watching were getting digital interference. Sometimes it was so bad that the picture totally pixilated and you couldn’t tell what the actors were saying. It was terrible.

Ever since we moved here we’ve had problems with the signal. Apparently the cabling or equipment in our area is very old and that results in the houses in the area getting poor cable and even internet signals. They’ve known about the problem for several years now. This is not the first time we’ve had a tech here for two, three or even four hours trying to fix the problem or at least manipulate the equipment enough to get a slightly better signal. This is starting to make my stomach Churn, I’m so frustrated.

I swear earlier today we were thinking about switching to satellite TV instead. I figure that’s got it’s own particular set of problems though so I’ll wait a while and see how the work that was done today works out.
