Quality original artwork at BeautifulRealArt.com

homelogo.jpg

I think that just about everyone I know has a piece of artwork in their home. Whether it’s a painting, or print that’s touched them in some way, or one which they purchased to enhance the look of the room that they placed the artwork in, it’s there.

If you appreciate original artwork you might want to take a moment and visit www.BeautifulRealArt.com. All of the artwork that they sell is original.

As I browsed through the site I discovered that each piece of artwork sold is one of a kind. If you are interested in a photograph there’s a statement in the description that says that no prints will be made of the photograph. If you are collecting art as an investment it’s always nice to know that there are no other copies in any form.

There is a wide selection of artistic styles to choose from including still life, abstract, floral, landscape, wildlife, expressionist, fantasy, modern, contemporary, impressionist, digital and real mixed media artwork. You’ll find oil, acrylic, and water color paintings, as well as drawings, photographs, sculptures in metal, stone and wood, and pottery.

I was quite pleased with the quality of the artwork being sold. There’s some beautiful paintings and photographs that I know my wife would just love for us to get for our own home.

If you know someone who enjoys original artwork you might consider purchasing a gift certificate to give to your friend or loved one for their birthday or another special occasion. It would be a unique gift for someone who truly appreciates fine art.

All of the artwork for sale at Beautiful Real Art has been purchased from the original artist. You deal directly with Beautiful Artwork when making a purchase. If you do decide to make a purchase I’m sure you’ll be please to know that the company is offering free 2-day express shipping on all purchases.

Annual fair or festival? Add the Banana Derby

normal_834328897143214_std.jpg

Have you ever had the pleasure of attending a Banana Derby? I haven’t but it sure sounds like a lot of fun.

Haven’t heard of the Banana Derby? Well it’s a show consisting of monkeys riding dogs in the Banana Derby race course. If you’ve ever been to one you likely came across it at a local fair or festival. I’ll bet you it was free to watch too.

If your town is planning their annual festival or fair it might be worth letting them know that they can request that the Banana Derby be brought in as a self contained attraction. It’s certainly a unique and unusual event and I’m sure it would draw big crowds.

Just imagine all of the parents bringing their kids to the Banana Derby, building memories and taking pictures that will last forever. It would be a day to remember.

The Banana Derby always draws the media to it’s shows too. For fair and festival planners it would be great to be able to publicize your event with the inclusion of the Banana Derby, as the festival would probably end up getting more media attention. When the Banana Derby was on tour with the Barnes and Baily circus in the recent past they ended up being featured on WVVA-TV.

Give your fair or festival a little more flair by adding the Banana Derby to your list of attractions.

Wedding season means wedding invitations

It’s that time of year again isn’t it? What season? Wedding season of course. It seems every year we have a number of friends or relatives that get married in the late Spring right through to early Fall.

It’s a fun season. We like going to weddings. I often end up video taping part of the event for our friends. Yes, they might have a videographer, but sometimes they only stay for the wedding ceremony and or the first part of the reception. I catch the action that goes on to the end of the party.

It seems that each year we get some very unique wedding invitations. Last year my cousin got married twice. The first wedding was a Hindu ceremony and the second wedding - two days later was a traditional catholic wedding and reception. They combined the invitation for both services into one invitation. One part was a card with traditional Hindu images and lettering, and the second part was a very formal and traditional invitation card.

I’m not sure which company created their invitations but if you are looking for elegant wedding invitations you might want to take a look at the selection at Wedding Needs.

You can chose from a wide selection of invitations at Wedding Needs - from wedding shower invitations, formal wedding invitations, to graduation, baby and stationary products.

If we get any really interesting invitations this year maybe I’ll scan the card so that you can see how unique some of the invites we get really are.

Conference tables to enhance employee collaboration

If you are in need of conference tables for your office or business then you should take a look at the Conference Tables at Unique Concepts.

Each design can be customized with electrical outlets, grommets and channels for cords and wires in such a way as to make these often ugly accessories almost invisible. There’s a huge variety of conference table designs to choose from. If you visit the Unique concept site just click on the gallery photos of the designs that interest you and you’ll be taken to another page with a full description of the table and a large photo of it as well.

The table designs are made with many different materials. Some of the conference tables are sold wood, while others are metal, or glass. Some have veneer or laminates while others are stone. It’s your choice. Whichever style suits your business and or your budget.

I took a closer look at one of the table designs. It’s a solid Cherry wood table with Carajas Granite inlaid on either side of the surface with two Motorized Power/Data Modules set in the center of the table. It’s a fantastic design - both modern and sleek as well as tasteful and luxurious all at once.

I worked for two large computer related companies in the past - one would never have had tables like this. They didn’t care about their image or their employees and in fact never really had sit down meetings for the employees to collaborate on ideas either. The other most definitely would have had tables like these, and it did in fact have similar styles. That company is still around today and it’s doing well. I’m not saying that a conference table makes the business … but the ideas and thoughts that are shared while sitting at a conference table certainly can make a business.

Conference tables are great places for your employees to go over ideas, business plans or models, and they great to have and use when you are meeting with other companies or clients. Take a good look at the designs at Unique Concepts, the sponsor of this post, and see if you think that one of these tables might enhance your business by inspiring your team of employees to collaborate on ideas in new and better ways.
