Email service for those wanting notice of the Rapture

Did you know that the LLC has begun to offer an email service to Christians who are preparing for the Rapture.

I guess this is just in case those who want to ascend to heaven don’t notice that the signs of the rapture are upon us. You know … seeing as it could commence suddenly.

Receiving an email message stating that the Rapture is coming will give people time to say goodbye to loved ones, family and those who might be less than worthy.

The email service costs $40 a year. Christians can maintain an email list of up to 62 people who will be notified. Why a list of only 62 I don’t know. Is that a number of significance.

The website offering this service states that members can store encrypted electronic documents such as PIN numbers and powers of attorney because “There won’t be any bodies, so probate court (would) take (all) seven years (just) to clear your assets to your next of kin.”

Hmmm I guess some of the people running the website must think that they aren’t worthy and will be around to run the site and help relatives get into the accounts of those who ascended to heaven?

Just too weird if you ask me!

Clickbooth offers their publishing partners the highest payout

home_01.gif If you’ve been following this blog or some of my other blogs in the last while you’ve likely noticed that I’ve been experimenting with different forms of advertising and advertisement placement.

Approximately one month ago I decided to join the Clickbooth publisher affiliate program. I’d heard about Clickbooth on another blog and after reading how well that blogger was doing with their affiliate program I decided to visit the site and sign up.

Clickbooth guarantees publishers the highest payout and a wide variety of advertising options. Publishers can choose to advertise in a variety of ways, for example you might choose to advertise using banners or use their innovative ad rotators which allow publishers to work with a number of different advertisers yet not clutter their sites with numerous banners as the ads can rotate in a chosen location on the website. Clickbooth also allows it’s publishers to advertise offerings via opt in email marketing, contextual pop under as well as via other methods.

I’ve also discovered that I’ll be able to use Clickbooth on most of my blogs because there is such a wide variety of advertisers working with Clickbooth that I can find advertising opportunities to suit most of my blogs niches.

Signing up for an account is fairly easy. I believe I was approved within two days. Also, if memory serves me correctly I was called by a Clickbooth representative to verify my account just prior to being approved. I thought that was a nice personal touch.

One of the things that I really like about Clickbooth is that I’ve been assigned my own personal affiliate manager. I’m able to contact her easily 24 hours a day via email, by phone or even by using AIM. She can also contact me if she has something important to tell me such as reminding me to fill out my W8 Form!

When I login to my Clickbooth account the first page I come to has a selection of offerings that my affiliate manager believes suit the one blog that I’ve registered with Clickbooth so far, as well as the newest offers and hot offers that are apparently based on my websites traffic pattern.

Not only does Clickbooth have a fairly easy to use publisher affiliate program, they also update their members of the latest happenings via the Clickbooth Blog. You can read about Affiliate industry news, behind the scenes happenings at Clickbooth, and information that is helpful to new Clickbooth publishers and advertisers.

In fact it was on the Clickbooth blog that I learned that by following Clickbooth on the Clickbooth Twitter Page I’ll be eligible for randomly awarded prizes if I respond to their tweets. Clickbooth uses Twitter to update their followers about the latest hot offers, events and of course the latest Clickbooth news.

I haven’t been with Clickbooth long enough to have been paid yet, but I can tell you that you can choose to be paid by check or Paypal. My choice is of course Paypal as I find that to be most convenient.

So if you are interested in advertising on your site and you’ve been looking for a good affiliate program I strongly suggest you take a look at Clickbooth.

Another person’s garbage could be your big find

Do you ever dream of finding something that’s worth big bucks? Well, for one woman that dream came true.

An abstract masterpiece was found in the trash by a woman who really didn’t know much about modern art. The painting subsequently sold for a million dollars.

The painting was discovered back in 2003 by Elizabeth Gibson. She spotted the canvas on her morning walk as she strolled Manhattan’s upper west side. She felt the painting was powerful.

It turns out that the painting was “Tres Personajes” by Rufino Tamayo. It’s a brightly colored abstract and it was purchased by phone at Sotheby’s Latin American art sale.

The painting was actually stolen. Gibson searched for years for information about the painting. She finally came across an article about the painting on Antiques Roadshow’s website. The article stated the painting had been stolen in 1989.

Gibson received a reward of $15,000 for returning the valuable painting and she’ll also get a portion of the sales price.

It certainly pays to keep your eyes open when walking through city streets!

Want some Porsche Wallpapers & Screensavers

I’ve always enjoyed cars, trucks – vehicles of any kind really. I appreciate the workmanship and style especially of some of the fine cars.

Perhaps you enjoy nice cars as well? I know some people are quite the enthusiasts – purchasing car magazines regularly, going to car shows, collecting models and when possible, if they have the income even collecting a variety of cars.

Well I can’t afford to purchase a high end vehicle but I can dream.

If you dream of nice cars like I do you might be interested in visiting Vcars. Vcars is a company that specializes in helping clients find Used Cars. They have a network of over 50 manufacturer specific websites such as Audi, Honda, Ford, Vauxhall, and Volkswagen and they can help you find a used car in your area.

My favorite part of their site is downloads area. You can download screensavers and wallpapers for all of the major vehicle manufactures.

Since one of my favorite cars is the Porsche I gravitated towards that area to see what kind of Porsche Wallpapers they had.

porsche1_screensaver2.jpg

I found four different Porche Wallpapers. You can download the Porsche Gemballa GTR 650 Avalanche Wallpaper, Porsche Cayenne Wallpaper, Porsche 911 Turbo Wallpaper and the Porsche Boxster Wallpaper. All of the wallpapers are of a steely blue design as if you were looking at the car at night time under street lights.

My favorite model out of that selection is the Porsche 911 Turbo. You can download the 911 or any of the wallpapers in a size that suits your computer monitor settings from 1280×1024, 1024×768 to 800×600. Just select the size you’d like and you’ll be taken to a new page with the correct wallpaper size where you can right click over the image and download it to your desktop or save as wallpaper right then and there.

I also like the fact that if you wanted to send one of the wallpapers or a screensaver to a friend you can simply fill out a form beside your download selection and send it to whomever you’d like.

The image that I included above is the Porche Screensaver. It’s a dynamic screensaver with a calendar and clock built right into it. I think it’s great. You can download the screensaver in a version for a PC, osX or Linux.

If you want a new screensaver or wallpaper for your computer check out the site. It’s free after all.
