I love this flower! You don’t say how big the bud is but I had one that was called a dishplate dahlia (i will go post a picture) that the buds were huge! I loved it. It is a perfect plant for a garden because it fills a space nicely, attacts the birds, and is just gorgeous. Your shot is very pretty!

I have tons of dahlias in my backyard but not that color. Dahlias make lovely photos.
